If there’s a wind knight, why is there a lightning knight? And if you justify variations on traditional elements, then where’s the water knight and the dust knight and etcetera?
There may be other nights. These are specific characters too, not elementals and para elementals from 2nd edition Dungeons and Dragons, so they are what they are.

Para-elementals are totally in 3.x. But I can dig it, I get ya.
